What is $FLY? πͺ°
The buzz
gm. A fly is the least respected creature in the room and the hardest one to get rid of. You swat, it lands on the ceiling. You leave the window open, it stays. That is the brand, and that is the whole roadmap.
$FLY is a meme coin built by people who read the Uniswap V4 hook docs ALL THE WAY TO THE END β yes, past the part where everyone else closed the tab and aped β and had one thought: what if the POOL was the meme?
So the token is deliberately, aggressively boring. All the cleverness lives in the pool. The token cannot be minted, taxed, paused, frozen, or upgraded, because there is no code for any of that. Not "disabled". Not "renounced". Absent. You cannot rug with a function that does not exist, ser.
The boring part
Few understand how good boring is. Here is the boring, in full:
| Name / symbol | Fly / FLY |
| Chain | Robinhood Chain, chain id 4663 |
| Standard | ERC-20 with permit (EIP-2612) and burn |
| Decimals | 18 |
| Total supply | 21,000,000 FLY, minted in full in the constructor |
| Mint function | none β MAX_SUPPLY is a hard ceiling, not a policy |
| Owner / admin | none |
| Transfer tax | none |
| Pause / blocklist | none |
| Upgradeable | no |
| Contract address | not yet deployed to mainnet β the address on the site today is the TESTNET deployment (chain 46630), a dress rehearsal with faucet money |
Read that table twice. Every row that says "none" is a thing that has rugged someone you know.
Where the 21,000,000 went
| Allocation | Amount | To |
|---|---|---|
| The pool | 20,790,000 FLY (99%) | seeded into the FLY/USDG pool at launch, full range |
| The creator | 210,000 FLY (1%) | the creator wallet |
ONE percent. Not five, not "10% team, vesting, trust me bro". One. Because the creator is paid by the protocol fee instead (The Fee and the Floor) β a creator who earns from VOLUME does not need a bag to dump on you. The incentive is number-go-round, not number-go-to-my-wallet.
Burning π₯
Anyone can burn their own FLY (burn). The pool's hook burns the FLY it earns
(Keepers). totalBurned() on the token is simply 21,000,000 β totalSupply(),
which means it cannot drift from the truth β there is no counter to get out of sync, no
"we'll update the burn tracker next week". totalOutOfCirculation() adds whatever has been
sent to the conventional dead address 0xβ¦dEaD, because degens do that too and it should
count.
What "no mint" means for you
The number 21,000,000 can only go DOWN. Every FLY that is ever burned is gone from the supply forever, and every FLY the pool's locked liquidity holds can only be sold back to the market by the pool itself β nobody can pull it out. Not the creator, not the controller, not a "multisig", not anon. The swatter has no handle.
The pair
$FLY trades against USDG, the Global Dollar β a regulated, 6-decimal stablecoin issued by Paxos and deployed natively on Robinhood Chain. Every fee the protocol takes is taken in USDG, so the numbers on the dashboard are DOLLARS, not "tokens at some price we made up". When the hive shows a fee figure, that figure is dollars, read off the chain. This is the way. π
